Scheduling Update
The summer concert at the Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest scheduled for Saturday, June 26, has been postponed due to forecasts for inclement weather.
Johnny V’s Wildflowers, a Tom Petty tribute act, is now scheduled to perform at the arboretum on Friday, October 1. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with opener starting at 6 p.m. and the headliner at 7:30 p.m.
The show is part of the Acorn Concert Series, offering family-friendly evenings at the Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest.
All series tickets and individual pre-purchased tickets to the concert with Johnny V’s Wildflowers will be honored at the gate on a later date. Ticket holders are asked to print their ticket and bring it to their concert of choice.
Description
Johnny V’s Wildflowers is a Tom Petty tribute act, fronted by Johnny V, one of Northwest Indiana’s most well-known and charismatic performers. The band touches upon all corners of Tom Petty’s catalog, from hits to deep cuts to side-projects and brings their own flavor to this classic and beloved music. Also featured in this band are other mainstays from the Chicagoland music scene, including Janis Wallin on bass, “Kid Mikey” Schroeder on drums, Rich Fobes on keys and David Gans on lead guitar.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Opener starts at 6 p.m. Headliner starts at 7:30 p.m.
Ticket Details
- Members: $15 for individual concert; $50 for series ticket
- Non-Members: $15 advance purchase and $20 week of purchase for individual concert; $55 for series ticket
Summer Concerts At Gabis Arboretum
The Acorn Concert Series is back for 2021. This summer enjoy family-friendly evenings at Gabis Arboretum while listening to a variety of musical artists, sipping craft beer and wine and savoring food from local vendors. Don’t forget your lawn chair!
