Issues in Immigration and Migration

The Center for Global Studies is hosting a presentation titled “Issues in Immigration and Migration” on Thursday, October 6 at 2 p.m. in Y Jean Chambers Hall (SULB 3rd Floor).

This event will consist of two presentations:

Stories + Crisis: Detention and Criminalization in the U.S. Asylum System
Dr. Monica Reyes, Assistant Professor, Multicultural Rhetorics, DePaul University

Climate Change & Migration in the Context of Neoliberalism
Vicki Cervantes, Coordinator, Honduras Solidarity Network

This is a CHESS Cup Event and is worth 50 points.
