Join Master Gardener, Victoria Jostes, to learn about growing native plants in your garden. No list of bird seeds or types of suet to attract our feathered friends will be presented, but we will reveal what really attracts birds . Folks are gobsmacked at what birds eat – and how much!

People can feed suet and seeds for certain species, but what they can’t do is put out a tray of the thing that birds naturally crave, and must have. In the larger view, by giving birds what they need, we’re doing something far greater than we might have thought, something that involves more than “just” feeding the birds.
