Heart Knowledge – Healthy Boiler Program

Having high blood pressure (also known as hypertension) significantly increases your risk for serious health conditions, including heart attack and stroke.

Often called the silent killer, more than 100 million people in the United States have high blood pressure but don’t realize it because they aren’t experiencing symptoms. This 6-week class is designed to help you understand high blood pressure and how lifestyle choices can help you better manage this condition. It includes weekly Zoom classes and health coaching to support you along the way.

    • Wednesdays 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. CT
  • September 15 to October 20
    • Mondays, 11 a.m. to Noon CT

Healthy Boiler programs are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan. All programs can be registered via the Healthy Boiler portal unless otherwise specified. All registrations are due before the start of the program and the deadline listed in the description.
