
Health Science Camp

Are you interested in learning more about human health?
Students should sign up for the Health Science Summer Camp to explore exciting hands-on experiences in nursing, biology and human health! Standout activities include practicing life-saving CPR, touring a high-tech simulation center, exploring the human body using an Anatomage Table and using DNA fingerprinting to identify cancer cells. Campers will also enjoy engaging with real nurses, faculty and students while receiving snacks, giveaways and a behind-the-scenes look at careers in health care.

Camp Schedule
- Day 1: Overview of nursing roles, tours of the simulation center and PNW campus, CPR demonstrations and hands-on activities.
- Day 2: Introduction to and Examination of the Brain, Body Systems, Anatomage Table and Genetic Identification of Cancer Cells via DNA Fingerprinting.
- Day 3: Chromosomal Anomalies with Hassan Naji, Health Screening and Exercise Assessment with John Durocher.
