Diwali (Festival of Lights)
October 21, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Make plans to attend this fun-filled evening of dance, music, authentic Indian food, and everyone’s favorite Henna (Herbal Tattoo) and Rangoli.
Diwali represents the spiritual triumph of good over evil and wisdom over ignorance. It depicts the victory of light over darkness, and the light guides us to prosperity in our lives, so let’s light a lamp of love, blast a chain of sorrow, fire a firepot of happiness, and may contentment fill your life. Happy Diwali!!
This event will take place in Alumni Hall.
We encourage everyone to wear Indian ethnical dress. A full-course Indian dinner will be served.
This event is being planned by the Indian Students Association of Purdue Northwest and is sponsored by the Office of the Provost.
