Join a Center for Global Studies forum, featuring a panel discussion on the background of and forecasts for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Speakers
- Lawrence Wilkerson, Distinguished Visiting Professor of Government and Public Policy, College of William & Mary. Wilkerson served in US Army for 31 years, was special assistant to Joint Chiefs of Staff and chief of staff to late U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell.
- Aaron Maté, Canadian journalist, investigative reporter and host of Pushback on The Grayzone. In 2019, Maté was awarded the I.F. Stone Award for his independent media reporting on Russiagate in The Nation.
- Lee Artz, professor of media studies and director of Center for Global Studies at Purdue University Northwest. Artz researches and regularly publishes on media framing of global events.
Format
Hybrid, with synchronous Zoom and an in-person talk in Y Jean Chambers Hall in the Student Union and Library Building on PNW’s Hammond campus.
