Creating A Cybersecurity Hub

Join Chancellor Thomas Keon and Niaz Latif, Dean of the College of Technology, to learn more about the nearly $6 million grant PNW received from the National Security Agency (NSA). This grant will be used for cybersecurity workforce development and the talk will include how the university is creating a research and development, training and commercialization hub.

Chancellor Keon and Dean Latif will also discuss how PNW is a premier metropolitan university, with high quality faculty who have both expanded scholarship and significantly increased external funding and industry partnerships in several core domains, advancing critically needed regional economic development.
Since 2014, PNW has been a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE 4Y) designated jointly by the NSA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
