Join PNW CHESS as we celebrate Hispanic heritage at Piñatas, Paso Doble y Provecho! As part of our Building Community Through the Arts program, this celebration will feature kid-friendly games, professional dancing (by Tyler Dean Dancesport), fantastic food, face painting and great giveaways.

We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our Day of the Dead (Día de Los Muertos) altar display, which will be set up in the Student Union Library Building (SULB) starting next week until November 4.

This vibrant and meaningful tradition honors and celebrates the lives of our loved ones who have passed away.

What is the Day of the Dead?

The Day of the Dead is a tradition that dates back thousands of years, rooted in indigenous practices. It is celebrated on November 1 and 2 and is a time to remember and honor deceased family members and friends.

How to Participate
