About Us
The Purdue University Northwest Couple and Family Therapy Center is a training facility of the prestigious Masters Degree in Couple and Family Therapy. We provide couple, family, and individual therapy to area residents and university students, faculty, and staff.
We are a university training facility where therapy and student learning occur together. With a low faculty to student ratio (8 students to every 1 faculty member!), our interns are able to receive consistent supervision of their therapy, enhancing the quality of counseling and therapy.
With some legal exceptions, all information is kept confidential; any release of information must be approved by the client. Because we are a learning center, we are able to offer a sliding fee scale.
Mission and Purpose of the Couple & Family Therapy Center

Diversity & Social Justice
As a center, we privilege the contextual components of the human experience, and are a supportive and affirmative environment that abhors discrimination, oppression, or repression in any form. As an extension of the graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy, we adhere to the diversity statement affirmed and ratified by the faculty and students.
