Introduction

Yufei is a third-year doctoral student working towards earning her Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School. She received her Bachelor of Arts at Mount Holyoke College, majoring in Psychology and Economics. Yufei has clinical experience working with a diverse population in a community mental health setting.

She is currently interested in trauma, multiculture, and working with international students. Yufei approaches therapy and conceptualization primarily from a psychodynamic perspective but also incorporates aspects from other theories to best meet the client’s needs. Yufei sees therapy as a collaborative and learning process. She approaches her clients with kindness, compassion, and openness and appreciates their unique individual backgrounds, acknowledging the enriching impact of diversity on therapeutic relationships.
