Introduction

Lawrence is a dedicated second-year clinical psychology doctoral student at The Chicago School. He earned his B.A. from Rollins College in Orlando, FL., where he double majored in political science and psychology. Lawrence brings a wealth of experience to his practice, having volunteered for Crisis Text Line, a service closely related to the 988 hotline. His professional background includes working with both adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and providing support for older adults with chronic mental health issues such as schizophrenia.

Adopting an integrative approach to his practice, Lawrence firmly believes that no single perspective or method can address every problem or suit every individual. He emphasizes the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as an immediate intervention, while also exploring an individual’s past for long-term growth. Lawrence is committed to meeting people where they are and highlighting their strengths. He has a keen interest in working with individuals who have experienced acute trauma, those facing challenges in adjusting to daily stressors, and those going through a crisis.
