October 17, 2021
Purdue Northwest Athletics would like to congratulate former women’s assistant basketball coach Kahleah Copper on earning Finals MVP and helping the Chicago Sky capture the 2021 WNBA Championship.
Copper, who coached last season for the Pride, averaged 17 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 50% from the field and 36% from 3-point land during the Finals.
PNW Head Women’s Basketball Coach/Senior Woman Administrator Courtney Locke and Copper both played collegiately at Rutgers University, where the duo made a combined five trips to the NCAA Tournament under legendary head coach C. Vivian Stringer.
