The College of Technology is hosting its annual Technology Day on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in the Main Concourse of the Student Union Library Building on the Hammond Campus.

Getting ready to present on Technology Day? Here’s everything you need to know to make your presentation a success!

Your Presentation Display is a succinct summary of your project that is meant to interest and attract readers, many of whom may not be familiar with your area of study. The College of Technology offers free poster printing for participants who register to present during the event.

You should be available at your exhibit during the Thursday, April 24 Showcase from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch vouchers will be provided to all registered students. Only completed, functioning, and professionally presented projects will be eligible for display.

Poster Guidelines & Submission Instructions:
Design Requirements: Posters can be created in PowerPoint using a Custom Slide Size of 48 in (W) x 36 in (H) and saved as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. Templates: Students may use the following pre-sized PowerPoint templates to create their poster. Poster Submission Instructions, Deadline & Pickup:

  • Final posters must be submitted by Monday, April 14, 2025, via the Poster Printing Submission Portal.
  • Only one poster per registered team will be printed.
  • Please ensure that your poster is final, edited, and reviewed before submission, as reprints will not be possible.

Printed posters will be available for pickup from the College of Technology Dean’s Office, Anderson Building, Room 202 during the designated times listed below.

  • Monday, April 21, 2025; 9 a.m. to Noon.; ANDR 202 – College of Technology Office
  • Tuesday, April 22, 2025; 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; ANDR 202 – College of Technology Office
  • Wednesday, April 23, 2025; 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; ANDR 202 – College of Technology Office
