VEREFI (Venture Ready Financials)
VEREFI partners PNW and community startups with upper-level undergraduate College of Business entrepreneurship students to establish their financial models, projections and preparations for defending their financial “ask” to venture funding.
VEREFI also helps startups identify targeted funding sources and procures curated venture and angel meetings for startups. VEREFI is meant to connect capital to our startup ecosystem as well as provide access to networks for startups to scale and thrive.
The Entrepreneurial Finance class, ENTR 303, is an experiential course that leads students in consulting for PNW and community startups with their finance needs.
Startup finances are unique to every business and startup leaders often do not have resources to navigate the dizzying business finance needs that are required for launch success. Our students provide startups with financial modeling and venture defense while identifying funders.
VEREFI works with startups to target venture and angel connections to curate a specialized list of funders for the startup. PNW then works with those venture and angel funders and the startup to host individual meetings at the PNW Capital Summit in the beginning of summer.
