CIVS Presents at 2022 Summer Heat Transfer Conference
Senior Research Engineer Nick Walla gave a presentation about the Lead Reverberatory Furnace model at the ASME Summer Heat Transfer Conference (SHTC) 2022 Conference in the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown, Philadelphia, PA on July 12. This presentation is based on a paper entitled “Modeling of a Lead Reverberatory Furnace using Computational Fluid Dynamics with Pseudo-Reaction Boundary Conditions”, authored by Nicholas J. Walla, Vitalis Anisiuba, Armin Silaen, Alexandra Anderson, Joseph Grogan, and Chenn Q. Zhou.
2022 SHTC conference brought together international researchers and engineers focusing on heat and mass transfer in a variety of applications. The program of SHTC2022 included technical paper sessions, plenary lectures, committee meetings and social events. The objectives of the meeting are to provide a forum for the presentation of state-of-the-art research and opportunities for technical interactions among participants.
