CIVS Special Event-Dr. Bryan Woosley Presentation

On October 30, 2020, we invited Dr. Bryan Woosley to give a talk at CIVS special event.  Dr. Bryan Woosley is a civilian scientist employed at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division (Crane, Indiana) and holds the position of University Liaison within the Chief Technology Office.  He serves as the site coordinator for multiple Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs, which include the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) and the Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship.

At the event, Dr. Bryan Woosley gave an overview of NSWC Crane Division and introduced employment and scholarship opportunities at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division.  These opportunities included the STEM Student Employment Program (SSEP), the NSWC Crane internship program, and Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) for undergraduate and graduate science and engineering students.
