Reheat Furnace Modeling Presentation to the Linde International Organization

CIVS researchers presented modeling and simulations of reheating furnace in the steel industry for Linde managers and engineers in Europe, Asia and North America on August 11th, 2020. The purpose of the presentation is to introduce more Linde engineers to CIVS’ capabilities and experience in applying CFD modeling and simulation for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting of industrial furnaces.
Linde, a charter member of the SMSVC, already has strong collaborations with CIVS through SMSVC mainly in the blast furnace, reheat furnace, and electric arc furnace projects. After the presentation, discussions were made to develop new potential collaborations outside of SMSVC to help Linde to better serve its customers in the steel industry.
