CIVS Continues Developing Virtual Simulators for Education and Training

Since 2008, CIVS has developed more than 80 cutting-edge simulators for academic instruction and industry training including safety and operator training. With the COVID-19 Pandemic forcing many organizations to rethink how they do things, CIVS is continuing to develop cutting-edge simulators which can play a key role in education and training for both remote/virtual usage, as well as more traditional settings. Some examples include:
- Occupational Safety Training Simulators – Developed for workers in various industries to learn and practice safe practices such as VR Fire Extinguisher training, Fall Protection, and Mobile Equipment Inspection
- Virtual Labs – Developed for students at PNW such as Global Leadership Simulation, Forensic Investigation, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, and Civil Engineering
- Industry Operator & Technician Training Simulators – Developed for operators and technicians in multiple industries such as Wind Turbine Technician Troubleshooting and Safety, Die Casting Machine Operators, and Gas Utility First Responders
- 360-Degree Video and Interactive Virtual Reality Tours – Developed to provide immersive virtual tours of facilities and educate new employees about operations and safety concerns such as at Steel Mills and other facilities
