CHESS Names Outstanding Graduate in English Department
May 12, 2020
Brenna Uporsky, a 2020 PNW graduate with a bachelor’s degree in English, hopes to work in an administrative capacity in the theater industry.
Entering the university as an undecided major, she found “the most supportive and incredible community in my CHESS professors.”
She especially enjoyed her literary theory course with Jesse Cohn and her post-colonial literature course with Heather Fielding.
“Both courses were so interesting and filled with awesome conversations,” Uporsky said.
In the years ahead, Uporsky hopes to become an administrator for a Chicago theater.
