CHESS Names Outstanding Graduate in Communication and Creative Arts Department

Andrianna Johnson, a 2020 PNW graduate in communication with a concentration in public relations, wants to have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Johnson served as vice president of communication for the course, Problems in Public Relations. The students conducted a communication audit for Franciscan Health of Hammond, making recommendations for improvements in the company’s communication culture.

Johnson and her colleagues completed 24 benchmarking reports, 64 interviews, conducted 17 focus groups and completed 687 surveys.

“Not many PR programs can offer that kind of hands-on experience,” she said. “I am truly grateful for my experience at PNW. The PNW community is undoubtedly supportive in every way imaginable.”
