AI Tools Speed Dating – Curious about how AI can enhance teaching, learning, and productivity? Join us for this fast-paced and interactive event where you’ll get a whirlwind introduction to a variety of AI tools. In each round, presenters will have just 3–5 minutes to showcase an AI tool, demonstrate its key features, and highlight its practical applications. After several rounds, you’ll have the chance to revisit the tools that caught your interest for deeper discussions. Whether you’re new to AI or already experimenting with it, this event is designed to spark ideas, foster connections, and help you find the right AI tools to support your work.
Lightning Presentations on Teaching Techniques – Join us for an exciting session of Lightning Presentations on Teaching Techniques, where you’ll discover innovative and effective methods that are making a real difference for PNW faculty. Each presentation is a quick, engaging introduction and explanation of a successful teaching technique, all delivered in just five minutes or less. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain fresh insights, share best practices, and enhance your teaching toolkit in a dynamic and fast-paced format.
Teaching Excellence: The Student Voice – Don’t miss the chance to hear directly from PNW students about their unique perspectives on teaching and learning in our engaging student panel. Discover what makes teaching truly excellent from the viewpoint of those who experience it firsthand. This session offers a valuable opportunity to gain insights into effective teaching practices and understand the impact of different approaches on student success. Join us to learn, reflect, and be inspired by the voices of our students!
Recognition Luncheon (by invitation only) – This luncheon will recognize faculty and staff committed to teaching excellence and student success. Those being recognized will include ACUE course completers, TIP recipients, Outstanding Faculty Award for Teaching recipient, First Gen Pride Grant recipients, Midwest SoTL Conference Travel Grant recipients, Inclusive Teaching in STEM FLC participants and facilitators, CFE Book Club facilitators, AI Afternoon Insights presenters, the CFE Faculty Fellow, and CFE Faculty Advisory Liaisons.
