ACUE Fostering a Culture of Belonging
PNW is partnering with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) to offer a microcredential in Fostering a Culture of Belonging.
Over 80 PNW administrators and leaders from across the university completed the Fostering a Culture of Belonging microcredential in Summer 2023. Join them in earning this credential to help create a campus culture that promotes the retention and success of PNW students, faculty and staff.
Fall 2024 Cohort: September 9 – November 10 (open to all PNW faculty and staff)
Registration for Fall 2024 cohort closed.
When applying, you will be asked to provide your Name, Role (e.g, Asst. Professor), Department, and your top 3 goals for participating (250 character limit).
*PNW ACUE Teaching Fellows ARE eligible to complete the Fostering a Culture of Belonging microcredential.
*The Fostering a Culture of Belonging microcredential does not count toward the ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction.
What to expect:
- Engage in a fully online, asynchronous learning experience with a facilitator and cohort of peers.
- Spend 1-2 hours per week engaging in module content.
- Implement new practices shown to positively impact students and colleagues.
- Participate in virtual discussions with colleagues that expand your thinking and provide opportunities for collaboration.
Complete reflection assignments based on your use of new practices.
