This session is a collaboration between the Office of Instructional Technology and the Center for Faculty Excellence which will address steps to set up your course in Brightspace and tips for engaging students.

Learn about ways to utilize Google Applications to create a more engaging and effective breakout room experience for students.

The information session will overview reflective writing, submitting Annual Review materials in Interfolio and using Adobe Acrobat to create a Teaching Portfolio document.

The Feb. 17 meeting of Purdue’s Active Learning Community of Practice (ALCoP) will offer participants a virtual and supportive place for instructors from across Purdue’s curriculum to collectively debrief their experiences teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The primary goal of this event is to provide an opportunity for faculty to step back and reflect on the shift we have experienced in education and then rediscover why we choose to teach as opposed to working a profession only.

This presentation will share the activity and subsequent initiatives to help students manage emotions and facilitate hope in a time of uncertainty.
