Teaching Online in Brightspace Workshop 3: Communication and Engagement

Faculty who are teaching this summer are invited to attend this workshop to learn more about best practices for engaging students in learning in the online environment and how to use Brightspace tools for communication and engagement. The workshop will be followed by a one-hour optional work session with assistance available.
This workshop is part of a three-workshop series being offered by the Center for Faculty Excellence and the Office of Instructional Technology to support faculty developing and teaching online summer courses in Brightspace. You are encouraged to attend all three workshops:
- Workshop 1 – Getting Started Designing and Building your Course
Wednesday, May 20, 9 to 10 a.m.; optional work session 10 to 11 a.m. - Workshop 2 – Grading and Giving Feedback
Friday, May 22, 9 to 10 a.m.; optional work session 10 to 11 a.m. - Workshop 3 – Communication and Engagement
