The Purdue University Global Center for Teaching and Learning is proud to present their 17th annual professional development event, Purdue Global Village, November 4–8, 2024.

This year’s conference theme is Lifelong Learning: Inspiring a Culture of Inclusion, Wonder, and Relentless Curiosity.

Purdue Global Village is a virtual higher education conference designed and delivered by the Center for Teaching and Learning for faculty, administrators, staff, and students. The conference’s mission is to provide a forum for collaborative professional development to enhance student learning in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.

The conference tracks include:

  • Classroom Foundations: Focus on the foundational elements of teaching and learning.
  • Leadership and Organization: Foster growth opportunities in leadership, motivation, organization, and time management.
  • NextGen Learning: Cultivate innovation and exploration of teaching and learning tools and methods to enhance the student experience, focusing on engagement, accessibility, and retention.
  • Scholarship: Encourage research and scholarly activity in the areas of the chosen profession and teaching.
  • Student Focus: Highlight student-centric activities related to the process of teaching, learning, and career development.
