Proposals Due for Ball State Faculty Summit

Ball State University is hosting the 2025 Provost Faculty Summit: Fostering Inclusive Excellence in an Evolving Educational Landscape taking place virtually February 6 and 7, 2025.

The summit will showcase the meaningful and inclusive work of faculty, staff, and students across the Midwest region. We invite you to share your teaching practices, especially as they relate to meaningful and inclusive learning experiences.

Proposals due by December 15, 2024 at 4pm CT

 

You are invited to share your teaching practices, especially as they relate to meaningful and inclusive learning experiences for learners.

Following are some topics to consider as you put together your session proposal:

  • Assessment Practices: Share assessment data, strategies, and/or tools that inform your practices in and out of the classroom space.
  • Inclusive Pedagogy Practices: Share strategies and examples of inclusive pedagogy in-action.
  • Innovative Teaching Practices: Share innovative approaches to teaching and/or technology that engage learners in dynamic ways.
  • Trends in Higher Education: Share strategies for addressing current and emerging influences in higher education.

Presentations at the Provost Summit will occur in one of two formats:

Individual Paper Presentation: A single-presenter format. When submitting, you have the option of selecting a 15-minute, 30-minute, or 45-minute time slot.

Full Panel Presentation: A multiple-presenter format involving a session chair and up to three presenters. The session chair organizes the presenters and submits the complete proposal. Panel presentations are 45 minutes in length.
