** Students taking more than 18 credit hours per semester will pay the full-time student rate, plus the per credit rate for each additional credit hour above 18.
Tuition/Fees FAQs
Purdue University Northwest generates electronic bills (eBill Statements) every month for student accounts that have balances. Students are notified by an email to their PNW email account when a new eBill Statement is generated. PNW does not mail paper bills.
Initial eBill Statements will include charges and anticipated financial assistance as of the invoice date. Any charges not covered by anticipated financial assistance are due by the tuition due date for each specific bill.
Students who register for classes must pay all tuition and fees as billed unless they officially withdraw in the Office of Records and Registration or drop classes via the Student Scheduling Assistant located in their myPNW portal by the add/drop deadline based on the start date of a class. The university will not initiate withdrawals.
Notifying the instructor or ceasing to attend the class does not constitute an authorized withdrawal. Students are eligible to receive a tuition refund or adjustment only when classes are dropped by the add/drop deadline.

Composite Fee Breakdown
The composite fee, generated by a required student fee, is used to support student technology (i.e. computer labs and classrooms, smart technology in classrooms, projectors, computers, printers), the repair and maintenance of academic and student service buildings and infrastructure, student activities, intramurals, intercollegiate athletics, the fitness centers, maintenance of parking facilities, and debt service.

Explore the Online RN to BSN Program
Tuition for the 34 nursing credits required at PNW is $13,882.88. New students may receive a scholarship to reduce tuition for the nursing credits to $11,604.88.
Program cost will increase for students who do not bring in transfer credit for non-nursing required courses. Scholarship eligibility is subject to change for students who have previously dropped out of the program. Additional fees may apply.
The University reserves the right to increase prices and/or discontinue the scholarship at any time. Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees.
BSN (Professional Nursing and Accelerated Nursing) students are charged the standard tuition and fees listed in the Undergraduate tables above.

Scholarship
Scholarship for Purdue Northwest RN-to-BSN Alumni: $1,000 (MSN- Nurse Educator and Nurse Executive programs only)
Tuition includes fees, with the exception of differential fees. Differential fees are assessed once each traditional semester and are $227.90 when registered for less than 8 hours and $289.95 for 8 hours or more.
Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees.
