Announcement: Sarah Reed, Director of Operations Gabis Arboretum

I am pleased to announce that as of May 6, 2024, Sarah Reed has officially taken on the responsibilities of Director of Operations at Gabis Arboretum.

Since joining the Arboretum in 2014, Sarah has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment. Throughout the past decade, she served in various capacities, leveraging her passion to create enriching experiences for thousands of visitors, fostering appreciation for our natural environment, native flora and local wildlife.

Sarah also possess a remarkable academic and professional background. She holds both a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University. Prior to joining our team, she spent several years negotiating customer service agreements with Fortune 500 companies and the federal government.

Given her background, her dedication to community outreach, and her enthusiasm for expanding environmental awareness, Sarah is uniquely suited to lead Gabis Arboretum into the future.
