Graduate Profile: Amanda De Jesus

Amanda De Jesus of Highland, IN recently earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Humanities, Education & Social Sciences. She majored in Psychology. 

“I chose psychology because I enjoy learning the many factors that influence the ways that people act and think, said De Jesus.

“My future career goals include obtaining a graduate degree that allows me to assist in the improvement of the mental health of women in crisis. I aspire to be in a position to better the lives of the most vulnerable populations.”

Her favorite aspect of #PNW was the opportunity to interact with her professors.

“To me, Powering Onward means to go above and beyond the minimum expectations. Dr. Gisele Casanova has helped me do so by helping me find opportunities to grow as a student outside the classroom through research and internships,” De Jesus stated.
