Heather Augustyn, continuing lecturer and Westville Writing Center Coordinator, recently released her latest book, Rude Girls: Women in 2 Tone and One Step Beyond, which details women ska musicians that performed in bands during the 1970s and 1980s.

PNW has been recognized as a Fulbright Top Producing Institution for U.S. Scholars by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs for its number of applicants selected for the 2022-23 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program.

Purdue University Northwest Begins Enrolling Students in Doctor of Technology Program
Purdue University Northwest recently gained approval from the Higher Learning Commission to begin offering a Doctor of Technology degree. PNW’s Doctor of Technology, is the university’s second applied doctoral program and will begin enrolling students for spring 2023.

Purdue Northwest Process to Turn Food Waste into Sustainable Hydrogen Is Licensed to Energy Company
The Purdue Research Foundation recently completed a licensing agreement with an international energy company for the commercialization of a new process discovered at PNW for the biological production of hydrogen from food waste.
