Purdue University Northwest welcomed three new individuals to its Alumni Hall of Fame on Thursday, April 4: Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr., the Honorable Diane Kavadias Schneider and Jeff Strack, president and CEO of Indiana Grocery Group.

In celebration of several recent multimillion dollar research grants from the U.S. DOE, Geri Richmond, DOE Under Secretary for Science and Innovation, and Rep. Mrvan toured the CIVS space and listened to brief presentations emphasizing the far-reaching impacts CIVS projects serve for industrial innovation, decarbonization, digital transformation, workforce development and community and industry relations.

Peoples Bank Donates Major Gift To Purdue University Northwest
Peoples Bank recently presented a check to Purdue University Northwest (PNW) in the amount of $38,500, confirming the finalization of an agreement and pledge to provide financial support for the university and its students. The agreement includes a $30,000 endowment fund and a total of $8,500 in scholarships that will be funded over the next 5 years.
