Online RN-to-BSN Pathway Program
This transfer guide is for Waubonsee Community College students who have completed their Associate Degree in Nursing and plan on transferring to the Online RN-to-BSN program at PNW.
Perks for Pathway Students
- PNW Application fee is waived for eligible pathway students
- Students can apply to PNW in their third semester and take their first BSN course while completing their last semester at WCC

Math and Science Requirements (17 credit hours)
The list of courses includes but is not limited to anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemistry or math. Any combination of credit hours of the courses will be considered. Zero credit or developmental courses cannot be applied.

* Nursing Credit Surplus – The state of Indiana requires 30 credits in lower-level nursing to be licensed. WCC Associate in Applied Science requires 40 credits in nursing. Indiana State Board of Nursing Requirement 848IAC 1-2-17 states Math and/or Sciences may be integrated into nursing courses – therefore lower division nursing credit, when applicable, may be applied to Math/Science/Pharmacology Requirement.

Humanities and Social Sciences may include but are not limited to human growth and development, sociology, nutrition or others. Free electives can be any for-credit college-level course that has not been applied to any other requirement within the student’s curriculum. Zero credit or developmental courses cannot be applied.
