Purdue University Northwest celebrated summer and fall 2024 graduates during two ceremonies held Saturday, Dec. 14. A total of 650 candidates were recognized for not only their commitment to academic excellence, but also their grit exhibited through student leadership, community service and extracurricular involvement.

In tandem with the approval of its new Doctor of Psychology applied doctoral program, the Higher Learning Commission has affirmed Purdue Northwest’s change in educational objectives as a doctoral-granting institution.

Purdue Northwest’s department of Psychology was awarded a $3 million federal grant to support mental health services and interventions for child traumatic stress. PNW will partner with two of the largest pediatric health clinics in NWI, Associated Pediatricians and HealthLinc.
